NALSAR is an institution of national
eminence established by Act 34 of 1998. The University is engaged in teaching
and promoting research in law and allied disciplines. NALSAR has become one of
the leading institutions in the country. NALSAR has been ranked No. 1 by

in 2011 and 2008. NALSAR has consistently been ranked amongst the top three Law
Universities of India.
Center for Air and Space Law (CASL),
NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad has come up with highly innovate courses in
Aviation; Space and Telecommunications; GIS and Remote Sensing Laws. The
objectives of these courses are to cater to the needs of unprecedented aviation
growth coupled with commercialization of space and telecom industries, which
calls for thousands of skilled manpower to meet the managerial requirements of
rapidly growing airports, airlines, aerospace and telecommunication sectors.
There is an acute shortage of aerospace professionals around the world. The
aforesaid courses are a unique value added qualifications which would help the
aspirants to acquire global placements in the aero-space and telecom industries. NALSAR‟s
initiative aims
at institutionalizing an academic-industry partnership in the domain of Air
Transport Management; Aviation; Space and the Telecom Laws; and GIS and Remote
Sensing Laws which makes it first of its kind not only in India but in the
entire Asia – Pacific region.
Centre for Air and Space Law (CASL),
NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad invites applications for admission to the
following courses. These courses can be taken even by working professionals to
acquire much needed additional qualifications. These courses would be conducted
in the „On-Site‟ and „On-line‟
mode.

Eligibility :
i) Bachelor‟s Degree or an equivalent Degree in any discipline from any
recognized University with 50% marks; or
ii)
3-year Diploma in Air Craft Maintenance Engineering along with three year's
relevant experience.
Students appearing
for the final
year examination of
Graduation / Engineering are
also eligible to apply.
Admission Procedure: Interested
candidates are required to submit the filled-in Application Form along with
Statement of Purpose (SOP), an attested copy of the Degree / Diploma
Certificate and a Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- drawn in favour of “Registrar NALSAR-CASL A/C”, payable at Hyderabad on or before
June 15, 2013. Classes will commence from July 5, 2013.

Selection
Process: The selection would be based on the performance at
the Group Discussion and the Interview.
Proposed Centers:
Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Guwahati. Centre will be functional depending
on the number of candidates opting for it.
Conduct of the Programme
Master’s Degree and PG Diplomas are of
'Blended version (a mix of onsite and on line) sessions spread in Four
and Two Semesters respectively. Each Semester will have Onsite intense
session by the subject experts, followed by Online session where
participants will work on the case studies/project assignments and upload them
on the dedicated web portal. Under the mode of intense e-learning process, the
students can have access with subject experts pertaining to various queries on
the subject. We would also upload the updated relevant material from time to
time. At the end of the final Semester, students are required to submit a
Dissertation. Attendance at the on-site Sessions is compulsory. To be
eligible to appear for the examination, the candidates should have a
minimum of 75% attendance at onsite sessions.
